There are moments when it feels like life is standing still, when you’ve prayed, believed, and waited, yet nothing seems to be moving. But Isaiah 60:22 reminds us of a powerful truth: “When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.” God has not forgotten what He promised you. He’s simply perfecting the timing. While you’re waiting, He’s aligning people, preparing opportunities, and strengthening you for what’s coming. What you think is delay is actually divine development. God is not slow; He’s strategic.
When you learn to let go and trust Him, peace begins to take the place of pressure. You don’t have to force what God has already planned. The right door will open when it’s meant to, the right relationship will appear when it’s ready, and the breakthrough will arrive when it will bless you most. God’s timing is never off, it’s often just different from yours. Keep walking in faith, even when you don’t see movement, because He’s working in ways you cannot see. One day, you’ll look back and realize that every “not yet” was part of His preparation for your “right now.”
Prayer for Today: Father, thank You for the reminder that Your timing is perfect. Help me to trust You when I don’t understand what’s taking so long. I release my worries and surrender my timeline to You. Strengthen my faith to believe that You are working all things together for my good. When I start to grow weary, remind me of Your promise that You will make it happen at the right time. I choose to rest in Your plan and find peace in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
