“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” — Philippians 4:6 (NLT)
Devotional:
Worry has a way of trying to take over your thoughts, especially when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. It whispers worst-case scenarios and keeps your mind stuck on what could go wrong. But God gives you a better strategy, prayer. Instead of carrying the weight of every concern, you are invited to release it into His hands. Prayer shifts your focus from problems to the One who has the power to solve them. It reminds you that you are not alone and that God is already working on your behalf. Gratitude anchors your heart in what He has already done, building your faith for what He is about to do. When you choose prayer over worry, peace begins to replace anxiety, and trust begins to rise. You may not have all the answers, but you have access to the One who does.
Prayer:
Lord, I choose to bring everything to You instead of holding it inside. Help me to release my worries and trust You with every detail of my life. Remind me of all the times You have come through for me, and strengthen my faith for what I am facing now. Replace my anxiety with Your peace and my fear with confidence in You. Teach me to pray first, trust deeply, and rest in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
