A Better Door

Sometimes the hardest thing to accept is that the door you prayed for did not open. You fasted, you believed, you trusted, and still it did not happen the way you expected. But God sees what you cannot see. He knows what is behind certain doors, what could harm you, delay you, or take you off course. What feels like rejection is often divine protection, and what looks like a closed door is really God redirecting your steps. Do not settle in disappointment when God is preparing something greater than what you asked for. His plans are not just good, they are better, higher, and more complete than anything you imagined. Trust that if He closed it, it was not meant for you, and if He is opening something new, it will align perfectly with your purpose.

Bible Verse:
Revelation 3:8
“I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

God is saying to you today:
“My child, I saw every prayer you prayed and every tear you cried over that door. I did not ignore you, I protected you. What I have for you is not a lesser version of what you wanted, it is greater, stronger, and more aligned with your destiny. Do not look back wishing it worked out, look ahead with expectation for what I am about to do. I am opening a door that will bring peace, clarity, and undeniable favor into your life. Trust Me, I know exactly what I am doing.”

Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for every closed door that I did not understand at the time. Even when I felt disappointed, You were working for my good behind the scenes. Help me to trust Your timing and Your decisions, even when they do not match my expectations. Give me peace in the waiting and confidence to move forward without looking back. Strengthen my faith to believe that what You have for me is better than anything I lost. Open the right doors in my life, doors that no one can shut, and lead me into Your perfect will. I place my plans, my desires, and my future into Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
