Life has a way of placing heavy burdens on our hearts. Responsibilities, disappointments, unanswered prayers, and constant pressures can leave us physically exhausted and spiritually drained. Yet Jesus does not tell us to carry those burdens alone. Instead, He lovingly invites us to come to Him, bringing every worry, fear, and unanswered question into His presence. His rest is more than physical sleep—it is peace for your mind, strength for your soul, and confidence that He is in control. When you release what has been weighing you down and trust Him with it, you make room for His comfort and His power. You do not have to have all the answers today. You only need to stay close to the One who has promised to carry what you cannot.
God is saying to you today
My child, I see the weight you have been carrying, and I never intended for you to carry it by yourself. Bring your worries, your fears, your disappointments, and your weariness to Me. I am your place of refuge, your source of strength, and the One who will renew your spirit. Stop trying to hold together what I am asking you to place into My hands. I will give you peace that quiets your anxious thoughts and rest that refreshes your soul. Trust Me with this season, because I am working even while you are resting. You are not alone, and I will faithfully carry you through.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for inviting me to come to You just as I am. Today I lay every burden, every worry, and every fear at Your feet. Fill my heart with Your peace and refresh my soul with Your presence. Give me the strength for today and the faith to trust You with tomorrow. Help me to rest in the confidence that You are working on my behalf, even when I cannot see it. Thank You for being my refuge, my comfort, and my unfailing source of hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
