Some things were never meant for you to carry alone. The worries about your family, finances, health, future, and situations you cannot control can become heavy when you keep carrying them in your own strength. Psalm 55:22 gives us a simple invitation: give it to God. Surrender does not mean you have stopped caring. It means you have stopped trying to be God over situations only He can control. You can pray about it, release it, and trust Him with what happens next. God knows what you need before you see the answer, and He knows how to sustain you while you wait. Whatever is weighing heavily on your heart today, put it into His hands. You were never created to carry tomorrow’s burdens with today’s strength.
God is saying to you today:
“My child, give Me what has been keeping you awake at night. Give Me the situation you keep replaying in your mind. Give Me the person you are worried about, the financial pressure, the unanswered question, and the uncertainty about what comes next. You have carried it long enough. I am not asking you to figure everything out before you come to Me. Bring Me the burden exactly as it is. I will give you strength where you are weak and peace where your thoughts have been restless. Even when you cannot see what I am doing, trust that I am taking care of you. I will hold you steady through this season. Release what you cannot control and let Me carry what has become too heavy for you.”
Prayer:
Dear God, today I give You everything that has been weighing on my heart. I surrender the worries I cannot solve, the situations I cannot change, and the questions I cannot answer. Take the pressure, fear, and anxiety I have been carrying and replace them with Your peace. Help me stop picking back up what I have already placed in Your hands. Strengthen me when I feel overwhelmed and remind me that You are taking care of me. I trust You with my family, my future, my needs, and everything concerning me. I give You my burdens and choose to rest in Your care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
