God Is Still Good While You Wait

It is easy to believe God is good when the prayer has been answered, the door has opened, and everything is finally falling into place. But Lamentations was written from a place of deep sorrow and devastation. These words remind us that God’s goodness is not determined by the condition of our circumstances. Even in a difficult season, there is still a reason to hope.

Waiting can make you question what God is doing. You prayed, you believed, you stayed faithful, yet some things still have not changed. But waiting does not mean God has forgotten you. Sometimes God is working on the answer, sometimes He is working on the timing, and sometimes He is working in you while you wait.

Do not allow a delayed answer to become a reason to stop seeking God. Let it become a reason to seek Him more deeply.

God is saying to you today:
“Keep your hope in Me. I know you have waited longer than you expected. I know there are prayers you thought would have been answered by now. Do not interpret the waiting as My absence. I am still working in places you cannot see. I am preparing you for some things while I am preparing some things for you. Keep seeking Me when the door has not opened yet. Keep trusting Me when the numbers do not make sense. Keep believing when circumstances have not changed. Your waiting season is not a wasted season. I am still good, I am still faithful, and your story is still being written.”

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me trust Your goodness even when I am still waiting. Strengthen my faith when answers seem delayed and circumstances remain unchanged. Keep disappointment from turning into discouragement. Help me seek You instead of becoming consumed with what has not happened yet. Restore my hope, renew my strength, and give me peace while You work. I believe there are still good days ahead, prayers still being answered, doors still capable of opening, and new chapters still waiting to be written. My hope is in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
