There comes a point when carrying everything yourself becomes too heavy. You have been trying to stay strong for everyone, solve every problem, meet every responsibility, and figure out what comes next. Jesus never asked you to carry life alone. His invitation in Matthew 11:28 is simple: come to Me. Bring the exhaustion, the financial pressure, the family concerns, the unanswered questions, the disappointment, and the things you have not told anyone about. Rest does not always mean your circumstances immediately disappear. Sometimes rest is knowing that while the situation remains, you are no longer carrying it by yourself. You do not have to have every answer today. Give God what is weighing on you and allow Him to give you strength for the next step.
God is saying to you today:
“Come to Me. You have carried some things longer than I ever intended you to carry alone. Give Me the pressure you feel to have everything figured out. Give Me the people you are worried about, the bills you are thinking about, the decisions you need to make, and the future you keep trying to predict. You do not have to solve everything tonight. Rest in My presence. I am still working while you rest. I am still watching over what concerns you. I am still guiding your steps and providing strength for what lies ahead. Put the weight down. Let Me carry what has been exhausting you. You need My presence more than you need all the answers.”
Prayer:
Father, I bring every burden I have been carrying to You. I surrender the worries, responsibilities, unanswered questions, and pressures that have left me tired. Give my mind rest and fill my heart with Your peace. Help me stop trying to control what belongs in Your hands. Renew my strength, restore my joy, and guide me through every decision ahead. Watch over my family and everything concerning me. Today I choose to rest in Your presence and trust You with what comes next. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
