I pray today to God and thanks for the gift of a beautiful day. I also pray for all the people who have been praying for me. I pray for all those that he has brought into my life that have been there for me as well. The biggest prayer in my heart continues to be for Steve, the man who has been my best friend for quite some time now, and the love of my life for over a year. I pray that God, the Holy Spirit, and his guardian angels, especially his grandmother, Cecilia, and his father Terry, are able to help him see that his running from woman to woman has continued to be a mistake. Please help him see that he and I were good for each other. He and I were good together as a family. We did the day and day out things easy. we made a lot of mistakes too, but I feel like they are part of learning process. I pray that he can stop and see that this new relationship is really destroying his family. His 13-year-old son is not OK with this relationship. I do not know if it is because of the woman herself, or because what it has done to the family. His 13-year-old and I were very close. We used to talk about a lot together. He used to come and hang out with me and , actually treated me like a stepmother. I pray again for God to help steve see that so many signs point to us being together, especially the comfort and ease of my relationship with all of his children. I’ve been moving around for years, staying with different relatives, in shelters, churches, and with teachers. My work history has been anything but stable. I never learned how to navigate relationships, like what to share and what to hold back. I struggle with knowing when to trust someone and when it’s best to wait before sharing my personal challenges. I truly need guidance on how to interact with people in various settings—whether at work, in church, or in other environments. Since 2007, I haven't found stability in many areas of my life, and I just long for things to improve. Although I sometimes grapple with dark thoughts, I remain grateful to God for my life. In the future, I hope to adopt a little girl whom I can call my daughter, raising her in faith and helping her lead a blessed, prosperous, and independent life. I aspire to take her to church and instill values that will guide her. I also envision a home with a small dog to cuddle and a big dog that will keep me safe and protect me from harm. Jesus, I seek your comfort in this challenging time. I find it stressful to ask Jerome for a ride to the store, and I feel emotionally burdened by what has transpired between us. It’s difficult to wake him if I’m in pain or need him to lower the thermostat or fetch me a soda when I feel overheated under the blankets. Our relationship lacks health, godliness, and peace. I’ve struggled to let him go; he desires my continued visits to his home without any intention to support my life goals or to move toward a serious commitment and marriage. He believes that God could bring us closer together, but I find it hard to envision something beautiful happening between us. I recognize my own imperfections in my spiritual journey. Jerome isn’t seeking salvation, he isn’t studying the Bible, he’s not engaging in worship, and he’s unwilling to consider counseling with me.
