But 20 years of separation and therapy later he messaged to apologize and we've been inseparable since then. Do people really change? Am I allowed to love him again? I need clarity, peace... and acceptance by my family of this relationship if that's what this is. And if this doesn't work out God please protect my heart cause I don't want to be broken twice.
