I pray that God guides me on how to exit this relationship, if it can even be called that. I've turned to Jerome for emotional and financial support, but I realize I need to stop. He longs to hug me, which I appreciate in a sincere, respectful way. However, he seems to want to treat me like his wife and expects certain things from me in return for his financial help. He becomes upset because he can't have the kind of relationship he desires with me. I need healing—emotionally, as well as with my bladder and diabetes. I also need to find a way to support myself financially, even though I have no car and I'm actively searching for resources.

Jerome is also bad to be around. He wants intercourse from me. Because I'm at home with him, he may not adjust the music at a decent hour or make accommodations for us to have peace because I won't have intercourse with him. He can't accept helping me financially, being in his home and me not being sexual with him. This is troublesome. GOD HELP ME.

I am praying for myself because I'm going through a tough time. Right now, I’m staying with Jerome, an older man who kissed me. I had to remind him that he should ask for my consent before kissing me to ensure that I’m okay with it. I realize it’s best for me to leave his life. I’m hoping that a woman I’ve been in touch with will still let me stay with her, as she has kindly offered to accept my mail at her place, even if just temporarily. In contrast, Jerome is unwilling to let my mail come to his home, even after several months together. It's become a struggle for me to get to another city, 37 minutes away, just to retrieve my mail from my mom and sister's apartment. Although Jerome says he loves me, I’ve expressed to him that if that were true, he would be more supportive and help with simple, reasonable things. I believe that a man who truly loves a woman would allow her mail to come to his home based on how he feels about her. I need guidance, answers, and a clear direction from God regarding my situation and where to go next.
