CHRIST MY HERO DEVOTIONAL COMICS FOR CHILDREN.

Motto- Living the life of Christ.

Christ my Hero is an initiative of Olajide Ojeniyi. I am a Christian Creative Writer with a burning desire to use my God given talents and gifts to spread the gospel of Christ. My vision for this project is to spread and promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ into the lives of children, teenagers and youths. As we all know there are various daily devotionals whose main target audiences are adults and youths but children, teenagers and young adults cannot grasp the message in these devotionals to their full understanding.

That is the reason we came up with this concept tagged “Christ my Hero” which will be a series of comics based on different Prophets and men of God in the Bible. The whole idea is to groom children to see the men of God in the Bible as role models, know their story and live their lives for Christ.

One would notice that today’s generation of children prefers to read the Superman or Batman’s comic than read Elijah or Gideon’s story. In fact most children even think the fictional character “superman” is more powerful than Jesus. We diagnosed this problem and with the help of the Holy Spirit we came up with a permanent solution, we will produce these series of Christian comics which will contain artistic comical drawings/illustrations using a team of highly creative Artists and Writers.

These comics are to be distributed Free-of-charge to children all over Africa. Revenue will be generated through advert placement targeted at children, this will help with the continuity of the publication. Questions and answers quiz will be printed at the back page which will enable readers win educational items and scholarships.

Below are the proposed working titles we would like to start with;

- Mighty men of David.

- 300: A tale of Gideon.

- Sodom & Gomorrah.

- Jehovah vs dagon.

- Elijah speaks...

- Damascus: The Chronicles of Apostle Paul.

- Let my people go!

- Miracles of Jesus.

Please pray for my terrible work situation. After 18 years of faithful service in a Christian School the Board are trying to get rid of me. I am going to go but they are deciding on my exit package and being very difficult. There is a HR lawyer working with them giving very bad advice. Please pray that her voice is silenced and that they agree favourably and let me work out these last 3 weeks of term. Please pray for protection over my reputation and another Principal job for me.

I’m going through a very ruff time right now. Lost my job 6 weeks ago, rent & utilities are now over due and I don’t know how I’m going to survive. Please asking for prayer for a breakthrough for me and my 4 grandchildren.
