My marriage is yours. I submit it to you. May you help me in my role as a wife, be a woman of virtue, of pa- tience, and of love. I pray that my marriage relationship would reflect your great love, by the way we treat each other. I pray that my husband and I would not seek to benefit our- selves but each other, and that we wouldn't seek to fulfill our own wills, but rather strive together to fulfill your will. I pray for my marriage. I pray specifi- cally for my sex life. I ask that you would help me to improve sexual inti- macy in my marriage. I am sure there is something I can do to help make it better. Often times I just want my husband to do everything or make the changes in our relationship, but I am aware that I have responsibilities too. I want to be a wife that can fulfill her husband in all areas, including sexual intimacy. May you bless this part of our marriage and may my husband and I both put the effort in to improve it. I need prayers for my marriage to be restored. My husband is having an affair with his coworker. I pray that God will let my husband see things through God’s eyes not his own. She has shown what type of person she really is. She is a master manipulator and manipulating. She has told me that she doesn’t see anything wrong with what she is doing. How can she go to church and not know this is wrong. She tells him that she can take or leave a relationship. She has no true feelings for him like I do. I am in love with my husband. He keeps going back. I pray God removes the blinders off. I pray that God removes her to another job and away from my husband. I know God has plans for us, because His hand has been upon our situation from the start. I need for this to be over in God’s way and His will. I do believe my marriage will be restored. Dear Lord,
Thank You for this marriage that You have given us, and thank You for guiding us to where we are today.
You say that love is patient and kind, and yet there are days when I'm anything but patient, and I'm hardly as kind as I should be. Your loving compassion and grace, has reached down to us more than we have ever deserved. Thank you.
Please teach us to give more than we are given and to forgive before we're forgiven.
Teach us to love as You love. Help us to reach out in grace. And finally grant us the strength to hold onto each other when everything in this world threatens to pull us apart. Dear God,
I choose to give this to you and not pick it back up. The things that have hurt me, the things that steal my joy, these lies that I have believed I choose to give them to you and in there place I’ll cling to you. I’ll claim your truth, I’ll claim what you say about me, I am treasured, I have a purpose. I am loved beyond measure. There is no place that I can go that you are not with me. No relationship is too dead, or too broken that you can’t heal. There is no hardened place in my heart that you can not replace with a heart of flesh. No child is too far gone that you in all mercy and love can not seek out and bring them home. Remember all the ways God has been faithful in the past.
Faith is a living expression that grows as we dare to put it into action. So, if we take time to remember all the miraculous ways he has answered our prayers in the past, we will find new courage and hope for the future — and our faith will grow. Find peace in surrendering to God’s will.
When we feel like we are running on spiritual fumes, and our spiritual life is beginning to sputter, it may be time to give in, not up. Sometimes we are so determined to win the battle we’re facing that we forget to ask God if we are praying in his will. Take time to remember how much God loves you and those you are praying for.
God’s love is at the root of all hope and, when we truly love someone, we will do anything for them. This is how God cares for us. Humans are created in his image, which means we get our capacity to love and feel compassion from him. Prayer for Clarity
Dear God,
May your words be like a lamp that lights my way. May your love be like a compass that gives me direction. May your truth be like a signpost bringing clarity. May your peace be like a measure that guides my decisions. May your hope be like a flag that declares I walk with you.
