We always imagine the past as different than it was. We always think we had more time than we did. We always think we'd have done something differently.

That's not reality. Sometimes people argue. Sometimes relationships end poorly. Sometimes you have a bad day or don't behave perfectly. That's life. We all have lives of our own. If we did nothing but contact all the people that mean something to us every day, we'd never have time for anything else. We always think there will be a tomorrow, because there usually will be.

I do feel weird now knowing that he still loves the only other girlfriend he's ever had and that they'd been together for so long. 2013-2016

Sometimes I let my pesky tendency to overanalyze everything get the best of me and I wonder what his life would be had his ex girlfriend not passed away. Would his life be better? Would he be happier? Sometimes he gets really stressed out about work or the little dramas his family causes and I feel so helpless. I feel like she would have been able to comfort him more.

Maybe this is what happened and he couldn't even tell me about it. I'm so heartbroken that Daniel couldn't even speak to me. Or to want a normal, proper, stable, stick together throughout everything relationship with me.

He said to me "You know if we knew each other since highschool, we would of still been together now."

I thought he said that because he always prayed and dreamed for a woman like me. Instead he just seen me as his 'replacement'. As he can't even talk to me and he had the chance to live a young and beautiful life with a woman for 2 years.

I can't believe how he could leave me in the dark, my heart is breaking and haven't got anyone there for me.

I hope that your happy with yourself God and everyone else who trashed what should of been a beautiful blessing with a man.

I'm sorry Daniel for not having a late boyfriend, fiancé, husband and ex boyfriend who passed away. A man who truly kept his word for loving me until the very end. God clearly thinks I'm not a good enough woman to be given a chance to make a relationship.

It's too late for me to have a 'boyfriend' and just want to be a man's first and forever wife.

This is what I think happened and nobody is listening to me or telling me anything.

This is someone else explaining their story but feel like it's similar. Even though I had tried searching for answers as nobody cares how I feel.

I had an ex girlfriend who passed away a year or so after we broke up. The break up was tough because we were each others first loves, and after we separated we still remained close friends. Well I found out that she was dating this new guy, and for some reason I automatically hated this guy without really knowing him.

Fast forward to after she passed away. I almost immediately felt some kind of comraderie with this guy. I thought well if she liked him enough to date him he's actually probably a pretty cool dude. Anyway me and this guy ended up hanging out and kind of helping each other along in our mutual spare time.

Maybe that's why he had lied to me about where he been. As I know that some people continue to stay in touch with the family. Even after their ex girlfriend/husband or any one else who been a significant other.

As he wanted to spend time with her family as deep down he couldn't handle loving 2 women.

That's why he had to throw me away like trash and couldn't even speak to me. Since Daniel knows what real, true, everlasting love is. Not to care that I wanted to have real love off a man.

I think it's really selfish what he had done to me and been left in the dark without getting answers.

Dear God,

I wished to have experienced and seen what real, true and everlasting love is. When I see or read other people's lives about how their parents or grandparents had been blessed by a beautiful and extraordinary love story written by God.

I wanted forever with Daniel, it's not my fault that I never had the chance to see what real true love is.

I'm genuinely happy for other people who God blessed to have this type of love story. Just wished it happened to me but God never hears my prayers

Marriage vows last until one of a couple dies. After that, with time, it’s healthy that the survivor may wish to find companionship and someone to love again.

A story what I read online and wished God gave me this type of love story.

My grandfather was very happily married to my grandmother for 57 years. They were inseparable. He was miserable after she passed away. He was lonely. He was bored. He had no one to do things with or for. Five years after she died, he started seeing an old friend who had been a neighbour.

The entire family - his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, were thrilled when he married her when he was 82. She was a very nice lady and she made him so happy.

It wasn’t an insult to my grandmother. It meant that he had been very happy in his marriage, was still alive, and wanted to have that kind of happiness again.

Talk about losing track of time and forgetting to eat, remind yourself to take care of yourself and be a person. He was a person who gave literally every single second of his thoughts and time and life to music.
