I need healing and health. I fell recently (tripped over my dogs) and did some severe damage to myself. No broken bones but some serious sprains. It's been over two months and everything is still very painful.

Dear Lord,

today a friend of my told me the professor wrote her that she won't be able to graduate in July because there is too little time to work on the thesis. This means that the same will be with me too, which means I'll lose my job. I am so frustrated because I'll have to pay so much money to the university and in addition to it, I'll lose my job because I had to graduate till August. It will be so humiliating, because everybody at work counted on me. I don't know how I feel about my job, but it's a secure, quite good job, good colleagues, so even though I don't know if it suits me, I wished I could work there. So....yeah, now I have to understand how to tell the boss about it and everything.

Then....about my private life.

Firstly, I want to thank you because my own health is quite good, not too many cramps so, thank you.

Thank you because it was only one night I couldn't sleep, the other I do sleep even though I have nightmares or strange dreams.

Thank you for last night, I had some fun with friends.

Thank you for grandma's well-being. She is still sick, and has to do lots of things and monitor her health, but I am more calm about it.

But....

I cry a lot and feel so bad and discouraged.

I miss P. so much. He was not only my boyfriend, but also my best friend. Now I am so alone, I miss him soooo much. And I feel like a fool for all the hope I put in us, in a future with him and all the things that I've done for us. I really thought he was the ONE for me.

On the one hand, I think you won't bring him back to me, because my motives may seem or actually be selfish. Moreover his words don't give me much hope. On the other hand, I still think that you'll give me a yes. I am so confused.

I pray for clarity, peace, and happiness.

I pray for patience and growth in faith.

I pray for a blessed future.

I pray that you change me, heal me, use me to help others.

I pray to graduate and a job.

I pray to have a family, meaning a boyfriend who will become my husband. (You know that I have only grandma and dad, and we don't get on well so I really wish and need a family in which I feel loved and safe).

I know you did a lot for me, you saved me when I was a toddler. Now I am discouraged and at the same time faithful because I really wish that you will bless me and answer my prayers, but I don't know what's the plan for me.

I pray for all these things, and to let the Holy Spirit enter in my mind, soul, heart, body and heal me, restore me, change me, use me, speak to me.

In Jesus's name.
