Please pray for my son who has lost his way. He is dealing with depression, fighting God, using Tarot Cards for answers. Deep wounds abusive father. My daughters deal with self-worth, eating disorders, and depression. They have all been raised in the church however, now in their young adult life, they are straying from God in many ways. Please pray for me to have wisdom, patience, and knowledge of how and when to help them and for their healing and their growth into mighty men and women of God. Help all the people of the world to have more empathy and compassion for others. Empathy and compassion are an incredible but challenging gifts of insight you have given to help us to understand others and live by the philosophy of live and let live. Grant us more empathy and compassion so that we can heal as a people and grow to be better people, as better people we can help those who are truly suffering and in need of help. With a greater capacity for having empathy and compassion for others we can show humility for ourselves and help others. By touch our souls to grow our empathy and compassion we can be grow to new heights as kind and generous people that serve the less well off that are in our communities. I'm having a really hard time getting over a toxic relationship. The person did something to hurt me and when I confronted him about the problem, my feelings were twisted and thrown back into my face along with the whole relationship. I was also disrespected and gaslighted. It really, really hurt me. It happened 5 months ago and to date I haven't gotten angry. I don't know if thats a good thing or not. I just feel really sad and depressed and frustrated. Everyday I wake up with a heavy heart or a sinking feeling in my stomach that is hard to shake. I still cry but not as much as I used to. The Christmas holidays were a bit tough and I broke down a few times. I do things to distract myself and make me feel better but its temporary.
I've forgiven him and pray for him everyday. I'm alot stronger than I used to be but it's just really hard to move forward especially since I still care and love him. Nothing has changed at all although I know that I am better off without him being in my life and I do not want him back. I really want to get over this person especially if they have already moved on. I don't want to hurt all over again if this is the case while I am still grieving. It's also really hard because I know that they see nothing wrong with what they did and the things they said to hurt me. It honestly drives me crazy given that I still care so much although we are not on speaking terms. I thought that I would feel empowered walking away from something toxic but instead I feel exhausted, defeated and drained. I just want the hurt to go away.
