I urgently need your prayers. I'm feeling very lonely as I navigate the disability process with my lawyer, and I've been relying solely on food stamps for support. I really need to move out of Jerome's place and find a safe space of my own, whether that's a room, apartment, or house. Unfortunately, my father isn’t open to a compromise that would allow me to stay with him. I have a court date in Virginia this Thursday morning. Recently, things escalated with Jerome, the older man I've been living with for years. He pressured me for intimacy, and I let him touch me in ways that made me feel degraded and disrespected. I turned to him for financial help and shelter because I was struggling to find peace living with my sister. However, after trying to express my feelings, he became aggressive, grabbing my hand and forcing me to touch him without my consent. This led to him calling the police on me, and I was arrested this week, which has been incredibly distressing. I've been praying and trying to stay hopeful during this difficult time. Please pray for me that the judge will show mercy and that I won't face any charges or jail time. I hope the domestic charge against me will be dropped and removed from my record. I am committed to remaining positive and keeping my faith strong. Thank you for your support.
