Dear Lord,
I have so many things happening today, and it's overwhelming.
My son, who has ASD, keeps shaking, and they are suspecting seizures. Unfortunately, we went to the emergency room twice, and they said it's just tics, but the school refuses to believe it. It's been difficult to schedule an appointment with a specialist.
On top of that, my daughter recently broke her leg. She's been crying constantly because of the itchiness inside her cast. The first hospital we visited failed to properly refer her to an orthopedic specialist. Her broken bone worsened, and despite my repeated calls, they kept telling me to wait without properly following up.
I’m exhausted. I'm a mom of three, plus a baby who struggles with eczema. My husband and I are both tired and feeling drained. Sometimes we clash.
I'm a mother, a wife, a student, and I still have to manage our finances and occasionally do part-time work because we're struggling to stay within our budget.
Oh Lord, I surrender all my fears, worries, anxiety, and everything happening in our lives right now. Please help us overcome these challenges. I'm also preparing for my CELPIP exam so I can work and support my family here in Canada. Please give me wisdom and strength.

You Word tells me to enjoy life with the man whom I love. We know that the days of our lives are fleeting. So, during this bedtime prayer, we pray that You help my now fiancé - Daniel Barrett (My first, future and forever husband) and I cherish our lives together, because this is our reward in life and in our work in which we have labored under the sun. I pray you are as loving as you are loyal. I pray you are as handsome as you are honest. I pray you have an unbreakable bond with God along with your family. I pray that you're intelligent enough to teach me how to learn more, be more and see more, while not being too stubborn to listen and learn from me as well. I pray when I ask you things you do them out of love, and I pray when you're mad at me you won't do things out of spite. I pray your actions are so powerful that I never have to underestimate your words. I pray you have a sense of humour that can move mountains on days where I can't even move out of bed. I pray you protect my heart as if it were your own. I pray you understand and accept me as if I were a spitting image of you. Six years ago, I encountered an older man named Jerome, who revealed himself to be toxic, manipulative, and cruel. Living with my mother and sister in their apartments was difficult, as their unreasonable demands and constant arguments about shared space prevented me from finding peace. In my naivety, I started visiting Jerome’s home for the financial support and shelter I desperately needed due to my challenging family situation. Unfortunately, my ongoing struggles with mental health, poor judgment, and an inability to secure stable employment made me increasingly dependent on him. Now, I find myself living with Jerome and desperate to escape this toxic environment. For the past five years, he has pressured me into unwanted sexual acts while I sought his support. I need a safe place to stay until I can secure my own housing and distance myself emotionally from him. Jerome has violated my boundaries by touching me without consent and has displayed irritability and abusive behavior over trivial matters. He has manipulated my emotions, using me to satisfy his desires while degrading me in the process. After confronting him about these issues, I felt overwhelmed, which led to a physical confrontation when I asked him to lower the music at night so I could rest. With nowhere else to turn, I began pursuing disability and military benefits as a source of income. In a distressing twist of events, Jerome called the police on me, resulting in my arrest and a court hearing. I am currently facing a Class 1 misdemeanor for assault and battery, stemming from my confrontation with him. I am praying that my lawyer will advocate for me during my next court date on April 15 in Virginia. I seek forgiveness and mercy, hoping for no jail time and that the charges will be dismissed; I understand I can have them expunged. I never intended for things to escalate to this point. I ask that God touches the hearts of everyone involved in my case. I am committed to working on myself and seeking God's guidance as I navigate through this situation.
