Devotional:
Gratitude is not based on perfect circumstances, it is rooted in a faithful God. There will be days when things do not go as planned, when challenges arise, and when life feels less than ideal. Yet even in those moments, there is still evidence of God’s goodness all around you. The breath in your lungs, the strength to keep going, and the grace that carries you are all reminders that you are blessed. When you choose to focus on what God has done instead of what is lacking, your perspective begins to shift. Gratitude opens your eyes to blessings you may have overlooked and fills your heart with peace. It is easy to praise God when everything is going well, but true faith praises Him even in the middle of uncertainty. When you live with a thankful heart, you will discover that your life is richer than your circumstances suggest.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for the countless blessings in my life, even the ones I sometimes overlook. Help me to develop a heart of gratitude that is not dependent on my circumstances. Teach me to see Your goodness in every situation and to praise You at all times. Remind me daily that I am blessed, loved, and sustained by You. I choose to focus on what I have rather than what I lack. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
