There are moments in life that simply do not make sense while you are living through them. A door closes, a relationship changes, an opportunity falls apart, or something you prayed for takes longer than expected. Romans 8:28 reminds us that God is still working even when we cannot connect the dots. The disappointment is not the end of the story. God knows how to take what hurt you, delayed you, and confused you and use it as part of something greater. What looks like a setback today may eventually become the very thing that redirected you toward your purpose. You do not have to understand every chapter to trust the Author. Keep believing, because God is still putting the pieces together.
God is saying to you today:
My child, stop believing that everything that went wrong ruined My plan for your life. I know how to work through closed doors, unexpected endings, delays, disappointments, and even mistakes. Nothing you have been through has caught Me by surprise. There are things you cried over that I was using to redirect you. There are people who walked away because they were not connected to where I am taking you. There are doors that stayed closed because I have something better ahead. You may not see how the pieces fit together yet, but trust Me while I connect the dots. Keep moving forward and do not become bitter over what did not work out. One day you will look back and realize that I was working for your good the entire time.
Prayer
Dear God, thank You for reminding me that You are working even when I do not understand what is happening. Help me trust You with the disappointments, delays, closed doors, and unanswered questions in my life. When things do not go according to my plans, remind me that Your purpose is greater than what I see today. Turn every setback into preparation and every painful ending into a new beginning. Give me wisdom to recognize the doors You are opening and courage to leave behind what You have closed. I trust You with my family, finances, work, relationships, dreams, and future. Keep connecting the dots and guide me into everything You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
