There are moments when all we can see are the problems surrounding us. Fear magnifies the obstacles, and discouragement whispers that we are alone. Yet 2 Kings 6:17 reminds us that there is a spiritual reality greater than what our natural eyes can see. Elisha knew that although an enemy army surrounded them, the armies of Heaven surrounded them even more. God was already protecting them before they even realized it. The same is true for you today. God is at work behind the scenes, surrounding you with His presence, His angels, and His power. Instead of focusing on what is against you, ask God to open your eyes to all that is working for you.
God is saying to you today
My child, stop measuring your future by what you can see with your natural eyes. I am doing far more than you realize, even when My hand seems hidden. I have surrounded you with My protection, My favor, and My heavenly resources. Do not let fear convince you that you are outnumbered, because those who are with you are greater than those who stand against you. I am opening your spiritual eyes so you can walk by faith instead of by sight. Trust Me in every battle, knowing that I have already gone before you and prepared the victory. Keep your eyes on Me, and you will find peace even in the middle of the storm.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, open my spiritual eyes to see Your presence at work in my life. Help me to trust You when fear tries to overwhelm me and circumstances seem impossible. Remind me that You are always with me, protecting, guiding, and fighting for me. Give me faith to see beyond what is visible and confidence to rest in Your promises. Thank You for surrounding me with Your love, Your angels, and Your mighty power. I choose to walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that You are working all things for my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
