Putting God first is not just a statement, it is a daily decision. It means choosing His will over your own, His timing over your urgency, and His voice over every distraction. When God is first, everything else begins to fall into its proper place. Your priorities shift, your perspective changes, and your peace increases. You stop chasing things that were never meant for you and start walking into what God has already prepared. It does not mean life becomes perfect, but it does mean you are guided, covered, and strengthened through it all. When you honor God with your time, your thoughts, and your actions, you create space for Him to move in powerful ways. A life centered on God is a life that will continually grow, transform, and be filled with purpose.
Prayer:
Dear God, help me to truly put You first in every area of my life. Teach me to seek Your will above my own and to trust Your direction even when I do not understand. Align my heart with Your priorities and remove anything that competes for Your place in my life. Give me the discipline to stay consistent and the faith to follow where You lead. I surrender my plans to You and trust that You will guide me into a life of purpose and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
